About Churdhar:

The Churdhar peak happens to be the highest peak in the outside Himalayan range. This peak is also known as Churi-Chandni-Dhar. It is named after Shri Chureshwar or Shirgul Maharaj because locals believe that they lived here in ancient times. The views offered from the summit are unbelievable. The Himalayan peaks visible from summit are Kinner Kailash, Shrikhand Mahadev, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak and Dhauladar Range. From the summit you can also get the beautiful views of The Gangetic basin, Sutlej River, Shimla, Chail, Kufri, Kasauli & Chakrata
